The Society for the Philosophy of Animal Minds (SPAM) was conceived in 2005 as a means to promote and support the work of philosophers and scientists interested in philosophical questions about animal minds and culture. We invite interested individuals to join the SPAM reboot by submitting their information to a database of members in order to facilitate connections. In the near future, we envision developing a forum for on-line discussions of papers as well as a comprehensive research database. We also plan to hold an official inauguration of the society by organizing our first conference at York University in 2018. In the meantime, please join the conversation in the Facebook group Animal Minds and Behavior.
